Subject: [ferrethealth] Dental clean for ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Hi,
I have a 3 years old ferret that always had bad teeth (was noticeable even when she was only 1 year old) Now her teeth are greenish-black and needs to be cleaned ASAP I have another 6 years old ferret, she is health now but has an history of what could have been Adrenal Disease (we don't know for sure because she didn't have the normal symptoms such as hair loss or change in her temperament, the only thing was that she lost weight from 700~ grams to 450.) She also needs dental cleaning but I'm afraid to anesthetize both of them.
What do you think? My vet says it's critical because they can suffer from gums retreat
