Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Odie's low heart rate followup

I picked up the theophylline last night and gave him some. It did increase the heart rate a bit, but it was still very low. I gave him some more this morning, but he was starting to refuse his food and could not support himself to pee after he pooped. He was so weak and his eyes said he was tired. He was not getting enough exercise to prevent pneumonia from setting in and I was afraid that would be next, especially since he was not getting enough nutrition to move much. I didn't want to let it get that far. I made the very difficult decision to let him go.
