ive had fleas on cats tho. i found that yes even tho chemicals may be harmful if given wrong. it nips it in the bud so to speak. flea reproduce rapidly and they will even feed off you if they have too..i cant stand them so id rather use flea medicine.
[I am assuming you got the flea medicine from your vet. Over the counter preparations, even for cats, can be seriously harmful, even fatal to the animal. - Moderator (TD)].
