Just wanted to say thanks again for the advice. My little girl Sadie, is feeling a lot better now. I managed to get some help from the Humane Society for the cost of the Vet visit, then my oldest son paid for the rest. I still have to have an ex-ray done and probably get the tooth removed but I've got a little time now.
Sadie actually belongs to my oldest boy, but we've been taking care of her and his two cats while he's been in Afghanistan. Now that he's state side again, maybe he'll settle down long enough to get his four legged friends back.
Anyway, Sadie got an antibiotic shot and some liquid antibiotics that I give her every 12 hours. After almost two days all the swelling is gone.
I'm so relieved, she's such a sweet little girl. I guess she was feeling little off, because she's making up for lost time during play time and pouncing every cat that doesn't get out of the way. She's run over me top to bottom a couple of times for good measures too. lol.
