i originally thought the aggression was possibly adrenal but we've since ruled that out and he shows no other symptoms of that and only shows true aggression when his stomach is upset and his poops are bad. so we think his aggression is more because he feels poorly and our other boy is a cuddler and the sickie gets annoyed because he wants to be alone so he gets upset and aggressive. we usually just separate him when he's like that since we have to monitor him more closely when he's having a "bad stomach" day anyway.

but thank you for the link and i've never even heard of imuran. i'll check that out and discuss with our vet getting him on one of those straight away.

we're also pretty happy because today's the third good day in a row and his moods and poops are great. we just want to get ideas before his next vet appointment.

thank you to any and all who can help us with this baby. :)

[Treatment with Imuran requires close monitoring, I would suggest consulting with Dr. Mark Burgess, Ferret GI Guru who has pioneered the use of Imuran for use in ferrets with IBD: http://www.swanimalhospital.net/html/thedoctors.html#doc1 - Moderator (TD)].
