Hi Jeff,
I have a little girl who has what we think is IBS/IBD and I do give her Tylan. It really helps her a lot. She will get these awful mucoid stools that are tinged with blood. I give her just the tip of a dropperful of Tylan twice a day for 7 days and it seems to knock it out.
Of course, she thinks I'm trying to poison her and she gets very dramatic when I give her the medicine!
I've also been adding pumpkin and Fortiflora for cats to her soup, and I've been using turkey instead of chicken. She has also responded quite well to that, as well.
