That is the problem, if the urine has dried(evaporated ) then what you are getting maybe is a precipitate. The crystals maybe did not exist in the original urine. The same as you can dissolve salt in warm water to create a supersaturated solution when the water cools you get crystals of salt precipitated. I don't think that is definitely a real problem.
You cannot get both types of crystals from one set of urine, one is caused by too high dietry protein the other by too low.
