Subject: [ferrethealth] Pred and Preparation H

I had read in the archives that Preparation H is okay to use to help with smaller prolapses, BUT I also read that it should not be used if the ferret is on prednisolone. Can anyone tell me why? My vet seemed to think it would be okay to use the two. Dozer is on 2/3 of a mg of liquid prednisolone daily currently for his IBD. He gets 1/3 of a mg of pred twice daily.
