I believe a Lupron shot will not bring her out of season. There is a hormone shot that is used for cattle that can help bring her ourt of season. If you do not intend to breed her and she is a pet, it would be best to have her spayed once completely out of estrus.

[Lupron has been used to bring ferrets out of season, but is a temporary and not ideal solution. Deslorelin implants have also been used. Spaying a ferret is best done by a ferret experienced vet. Moderator (TD)].
