If hair started growing in then the Deslorelin is working.

Hair loss on top of the head is very unusual even with adrenal disease. It could be part of an aberrant seasonal shed. Is there fuzz or colouration in the bald spot, that is, signs of hair coming in beneath the skin?

I would be suspicious that something else might be causing the hair loss on the head, e.g., ringworm, repeatedly rubbing top of head on something, over vigorous grooming by cage mate, scratching his head, etc.

Have you looked at it? Check for possible lesions, like a mast cell tumor, which is skin coloured and would cause irritation and terrible itching. See if there is any obvious irritation.
