Subject: [ferrethealth] need advice on adrenal desease

I would like to know from people with experience with adrenal desease what I shouldexpect/how long she will live/is she in pain?
I just really can't afford a vet now :(
She is 6 yo, I started noticing some hair loss on her back a year ago. Now she is almost completely hairless (except for her head) and last month her lymphnodes started to get really swollen.
She doesn't seem to be in pain, but she can't be comfortable. I feel bad and my husband keeps pushing me to do euthanasia :(
What can I do to make comfortable and happy?

[If her lymph nodes are swollen you are probably dealing with lymphoma as well as adrenal disease. You CANNOT keep her happy or comfy without a vet. If you cannot afford a vet you need to surrender this ferret to someone who will give her the medical care she desperately needs. Most shelters will do that. I know that sounds harsh but it is the sad reality of the situation. --Moderator (CMM)]
