What, exactly, is in the soup you are feeding?

Are you giving him any probiotics? He has been loaded up with antibiotics, which have no doubt wiped out the good bacteria along with the bad. He probably needs a lot of help replenishing this good bacteria needed for digestion. I use Forti-Flora. Bene-bac or regular acidophilus could also help, but Forti-Flora is the one Ive personally had best results with in the past.

You can sneak the pepcid into the soup. It essentially has no flavor, so I am wondering why the ferret is having such an adverse reaction to it? What exactly are you using for pepcid?

Are you putting any plain pumpkin in his soup to firm up the stools?

There are other antibiotics that can be tried. Are the runny/watery poops also very smelly, suggesting the continued presence of too much bacteria?
