To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

My little girl is very fussy too. What I have to do is take her food and mix new food into the old bag it has the odor of the old food, it takes a few days. In the mean time I had to force feed her (carefully of course) with babyfood turkey . She eventually started eating the other food but I have to keep the bag and keep filling it with the new food.

Hope that makes sense, good luck!

Lorie

[Some ferrets just will not accept certain foods. I remember trying 8-in-1 Ultimate in my ferrets' mix. They'd dump the food bowl, eat everything but the 8-in-1, and just let that sit there. Thankfully there were other foods they did accept. Don't assume a food change is always easy or even doable. --Moderator (CMM)]
