Subject: [ferrethealth] Deslorelin Weight Gain

Have any of your Ferrets who have received a Deslorelin Implant experienced an almost immediate and very noticeable weight gain? Our little Peanut, now a much bigger Peanut, most certainly did following her receiving of the Deslorelin Implant near the end of this past year. She was implanted by extremely competent vets from a local state university Veterinary Medical School in their Animal Hospital. So, is her weight gain simply a function of the implant itself, or could it be attributed to something else?
