I have had quite a few receive the Deslorelin implants. Without exception their activity levels increased.
Only one gained quite a bit of weight but he's almost 8 years-old and I attributed his weight gain to feeling better in general. He was quite thin when he came in 2 years ago.
He received the Deslorelin implant last May and is now just beginning to show some discomfort when urinating and he is drinking his own urine. So he is getting a second implant tomorrow. He's the only who has shown symptoms within a year of receiving the implant - the rest on average go to about 15 months before symptoms begin surfacing again.
