I have a boy with the same sounding thing that appeared on his right fore leg, we had it checked when he got his last implant and the vet felt it was just a cyst. Best to get it checked earlier rather than later though as some things can grow rapidly and if it has to come off its a lot easier on them when its small.

I have a female who has always been a mast cell tumor factory, she has had all sorts all looking different and smooth domed and pink is one of them. She has had some that look like outgrowing warty structures, black scabby ones and smooth pink domed growths, according to pathology all have so far been simple mast cell tumors.
