As far as I know the NeoVac® DA2 vaccine has not received USDA approval for use in ferrets. I have emailed NeoTech Vaccines to see whether it has been approved and will post the answer when I receive it.
I take a more conservative approach and do not unnecessarily subject my beloved ferrets to risks. Its not as if there is no choice here with an approved vaccine already on the market.
Until this vaccine receives USDA approval for use in ferets, I will continue to use Purevax by Merial, which does have the gold seal of approval for use in ferrets.
