i do not know which brand of vaccine my ferret received but he had to get 2 shots of pred as 1 shot was not enough to stop the side effect Reaction from it..

[I'm afraid without knowing which vaccination was used the information isn't terribly useful. Sorry.
For some ferrets who have moderate to severe vaccination reactions dexamethasone is used instead of prednisolone. That was what vets used for my ferrets who had anaphylactic ractions to either rabies or distemper vaccinations. --Moderator (CMM)]
