When a reaction is not life threatening then a steroid like Pred or Dex and maybe some other support will work. If it is life threatening , a serious anaphylactic reaction, then the chief medication is epinephrine, and as well as that fluids, perhaps oxygen, perhaps antihistamine, and often steroids are given. There are some variations. Basically, the core approach is the same as when a human gets an anaphylactic reaction.
