Subject: [ferrethealth] Deslorelin Gel ?

Has anyone heard of Deslorelin in the form of injectible gel?
I heard that a local vet has been using this for about 9 months on ferrets.
It is supposed to last 12-18 months. He injects it into the rear upper thigh area. Cost is $90 at his clinic.
He said it is approved (and purchased) for use in the U.S.
