Subject: [ferrethealth] No fur regrowth

I have a light silver male ferret who has had both adrenals out but at
separate times. First, the left, was 01/26/11, then the right on
07/11/11. He has not grown any fur, not even peach fuzz on the shaved
area of his belly. Would a shot of Lupron kick start the follicles to
get growing? I can't pay for another implant right now.

[Some ferrets never regrow their fur where shaved, even if they don't have adrenal disease. Its not likely to be connected to adrenal disease. It may or may not grow back. Think of it as a new look ; ) - Moderator (TD)].
