Yes! let us know how it goes. Otter my ferret has insulinoma too, and he is on prednisolone 3x's a day...every 8 hrs rather then every 12, he is doing great! He does get an upset belly and I have been giving him carafate 1/2 hr before feeding/meds, but not before "snack time" (just food).
