Roxana,

Chemo doesn't mean the ferret is going to be miserable.
It depends on the chemo & the ferret.

My ferret Maxi was on 4 different chemos over about 6 months.
He had a good quality of life during most of that time.
We feel that it was worthwhile...
We had to give him every chance to recover, go into remission, & feel better.
If we did not do the chemo, we would have wondered "what if"?
Good Luck Nino!

[The owner lives in Romania and there may be limited resources such as chemo protocols available. I would certainly encourage a chemo dose of prednisolone at the very least. However, all depends on how extensive the cancer is and whether it has infiltrated into the central nervous system/brain. - Moderator (TD)].
