I know one day is way to early to know if it is helping, or he's just having a fluke "good" day, so I am cautiously optimistic, but encouraged.
Do you recommend getting like a diabetic test meter used for humans? Any particular brand/type?

[Our vet recommends a FreeStyle Freedom Lite. I've used it with my ferrets and it reads a bit lower than what we see at the vet's office but it is reasonably accurate. --Moderator (CMM)]
