Hi experts...

Please give me any feedback on his stats...

And please give me input on his prognosis for recovery, etc.

Charlie was found in our backyard in Maryland in July of 2008.

He is our original ferret that started us on our ferret journey!

We don't know his age...just that he has been ours for 3 & 1/2 years.

And he has had the best food & healthcare during his life with us.

No people food/extremely rare treats/frequent ferretone/no sugary supplements...

He has Deslo implants annually...has had Melatonin implant in past, but now is overdue for new one.

His symptoms this past week...vomiting episode last weekend, lack of appetite, lethargic, weakness, constant diarrhea, eyes lacking luster : (

This is our first ferret with this condition...please give me any experience that will assist me with this situation.

[Name of vet and clinic removed as per FHL rules] He is in the care of an excellent ferret vet...people drive from neighboring states to see him.

Charlie is on IV meds & fluids.

What can I expect?

Thanks,
Julie Coleman
Proud Ferrent of Charlie, Lia, Hopscotch, & Skywalker
Always in our thoughts...Maxi & Nicho
