I've used infant gas drops in the past. Simethicone is the only active ingredient. Make sure it's no alcohol, no saccharin, no artificial flavor. I used CVS brand, but I don't remember the dosage. You can ask your vet, or try just one drop and see if it helps. Dosage for a human infant is 0.3 ml, so one drop would be approx. 1/10 of that dosage.

60 ccs every 3 or 3.5 hours sounds like a lot of soup. Is he gaining weight on this diet? Maybe you can try going every 4.5 to 5 hours and see how he does. Their normal digestive time is around 4-5 hours to metabolize a meal.

One other thing you can try is adding a little slippery elm bark powder to his soup once a day. Just sprinkle a little into the soup after heating.

If the poops get smelly with the excess of gas it could indicate excessive bacteria, which might require an antibiotic to clear up.
