If your ferret has an intestinal foreign body, she will most likely die from that if she doesn't have surgery to remove it. It is important that your ferret is intubated (breathing tube in the trachea) during the procedure. It sounds like surgery is probably her only chance of survival. She could have a reaction to anesthesia, but without the surgery it sounds like she won't survive anyway. At least you will have tried. There is no way to predict if there was any brain damage, but she may be perfectly fine after recovering from surgery.
