Subject: [ferrethealth] Anaemia Question Please

My ferret has had,has anaemia. Assuming that she were able to regenerate her red blood cells ok herself, How long do you think it would take in weeks to get more energy ? Her blood count was 17% 3 weeks ago and has only slightly more energy now ! I don't know how long to leave it before I start thinking if something else is going on. She is on a good diet and is putting on weight. 1/3 AD. 2 heaped teaspoons Carnivore Care 1 handful dry kibble soaked and then liquidised. This mixture then lasts 2 - 2.5 days In addition she has 1 teaspoon Carnivore am & pm which meds are mixed in.
Her initial dignosis was Helicobacter & ulcers and has been having meds for both for 3 weeks now.
Do you think this is what to be expected given the severity of the anaemia ?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
