Skyla, I also have ordered Vanadyl to try on my 5 year old who just had
partial pancreatomy 2 weeks ago. She is back on diazoxide because with in
a week her glucose was back down below 70 - I do not want to start her on
pred. I am going to try this as well. I've had her on Ambrotose since we
found out about the insulinoma. I feel it has helped her feel better and
may be helping ward off lymphoma which she is showing signs of through
pathology. It hasn't helped her glucose tho so I am looking for any
alternative to pred. Add me to your list with Holly and we'll keep tabs on
progress. Thanks!
