The only other thing that's changed is that his poos are sloppy. He's
always had gastro problems throughout his life, so sloppy poos do come
along every now and then, but that changed at about the same time.
My vet is away til tomorrow, so I don't know if I should take him to an
unknown vet or wait. He has long intervals between coughs. Over here (New
Zealand) you can't do ekg's or ultrasounds on ferrets (they have become an
illegal species), so we can only diagnose on symptoms, observation and
xrays. I don't know if it is urgent enough that I should be rushing to the
vet who is unfamiliar with him, or just wait a day.
