Thank you for the information. He is eating kibble between his meds and food should I maybe feed him chicken in between his meds?
Also those other two ferret may have had other things going on. The first had red bloody stools so that probably was not a ulcer caused by pred. The other had watery dark brown or black stools that the vet saw and said that was pretty obvious. He was very ill and going down hill at that time, so we opted to help him over the bridge. It just about kills me when we have to do that, I want them to have the longest and best life possible and I agonize on what we can do to accomplish both and I worry about giving up too soon.
