I just wanted to say, I've read everyone's replies from today and will take all comments/suggestions into consideration. There were some minor details left out that people asked that I forgot...he was on prednisolone not prednisone, he did have a course of flagyl with the carafate after the possible ulcer episode, he doesn't seem to have an ulcer problem anymore, my vet is an exotics vet, I would say re ferrets she's not an expert but not a newbie...probably middle of the road.
Don't worry about analyzing all these details or asking more questions because I really don't wish to discuss mine and Coco's situation on the list anymore. This entire discussion has already caused me enough stress/anxiety and I would just like a return to normalcy. I had no other intention from my original post than to find out if anyone had tried this particular treatment before, and if so, what were the results...that's it, no other ulterior motives, not trying to sell snake oil or promote something harmful. Please, no more discussion about Coco.
