right now i'm using the 28 gauge lancets and they don't seem to work on him. i do warm the site to try and increase the blood flow. it really doesn't seem to help in his case. as far as the tip of the tail is concerned, do you mean like the very tip? or more like within the last .5" or so? like the nub end of the tail or from the side? and in the case of a needle, how would i know how much pressure to use? i feel nervous that it might go too deep into him. should a quick prick with it do the trick? or would pressure need to be applied?

thanks
amanda
