Subject: [ferrethealth] Question about my ferret
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi,

I have an almost 8 year old male ferret.
He has adrenal disease and just got the implant for the second time in December.
He also has an enlarged prostate, he takes Saw Palmetto for that.

He still has very little hair on his tail, his back legs are very weak (right leg is worse) and he is very thin.
He also has trouble pee/pooping, he pushes really hard and his butt get big and red.

Recently I noticed one of his eyes has a blueish spot when I look at it a certain way and the other eye is all black (sometimes looks like a little bit of red).
I also noticed a black spot on the outside of his last toe (on his right paw). I have been checking that paw daily because he has a skin bubble on two of the toes and I was told to watch for it getting bigger.
I have only seen the black spot since last night.

Does anyone know what this can be from?
I might be able to get a picture of the toe if it would help.

Thanks,
Jessica
