Regarding the cost of diazoxide, you might be able to find it considerably cheaper at this pharmacy, which I've used several times for both prednisolone and diazoxide:

Each prescription is compounded individually to the specifications of the vet's prescription. I have gotten more concentrated versions of prednisolone and diazoxide and found it to be literally a fraction of the cost of purchasing it locally. Both have worked well and are shelf-stable (non-refrigerated). Shipping is very fast. You would set up an account with your credit card and have a vet call in any specific prescriptions.
