My daughters 8-9 yr old ferret just was doxed with this condition - because of back leg weekness and alittle bit of drool on and off one day - have not seen more drool but hind legs are a bit week but not bad....thinking of having surgery done as my dughter is devisated...was put on low dose pred and have started that three days ago....looking for naturals or other options...and how do you really know for sure this is what is wrong with him....?? Should we just go and do surgery and if it is in fact this condition then how long usualy does this ferret have to live with this surgury...
By the way how long does a ferret usualy live?
thanks in advance as this is a very hard situation....Diane
