Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] What methods of taking bloods are there and are they painful? Please help
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I'm really horrified that they cut her neck open!!!! My ones just have a little gas - it doesn't seem to affect the results (unless they are taking the gas into aaccount - surely it wouldn't make that much of a difference).

I've never had a vet who could get bloods without a little gas, but they just shave a patch of fur and draw it up - it's not stressful, as they are asleep. I would never trust any of my pets with a vet who did that.
