I just learned from Dr. Ruth Heller that her ferret who was so allergic to pine survived. That makes sense; it means the cause could be isolated.

BTW, allergies tend to be triggered by proteins in compounds, for those who wondered. I know that people sometimes lump sensitivities and allergies together but they are different things.

Individuals vary and that is always important to remember.
