Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] progylcem possible side effects? / ferret nightmares
To: "ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com" <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

i know that his insulinoma aggravates his ibd. the ibd he had last sept/oct is what caused me to get him tested and how he got diagnosed. that's why i am sure that his mini seizure at least mostly caused this most recent flare up. that's also why we're adding progylcem to his regimen. to manage his insulinoma better. he likes the taste of it. he's on 6mg.

we also once again discussed his nightmares. whether they are possibly related to his ibd (like sharp pain while asleep)- but he doesn't show signs of pain like grinding or needing to poop or anything...or possibly mini seizures each time he has an episode- but he wakes up super easy just from a light rubbing on his tummy except for the one on 3/14. and again the look in his eyes goes from fear/panic to immediate relief upon seeing me. we've also xrayed him to make
sure he doesn't have spinal issues/limb issues that might be causing him pain. i've even spoken to shelter parents that i've befriended and
they've never heard of anything like this either without any of those causes.

we have decided to try testing his BG for a week straight after any episodes he has to be sure they aren't insulinoma seizures.

well thank you all for your input,
amanda
