My honest suggestion would be to try another premium food. Some years
back Totally Ferret (our main food) had a bad batch and we decided to
offer a mix of foods rather than just one. 8-in-1 Ultimate was one of
the recommended foods at the time and my little weasels weren't having
it for a minute. They would dump the food bowl, separate out and eat
the Totally Ferret and Zupreem and leave the 8-in-1 behind.
Fortunately there are quite a few brands of excellent ferret food on
the market nowadays so I'd simply keep trying mixing in different ones
until you find one everyone will eat.
Good luck!
Caity
