I also agree. You'll know when it's time. I've nursed along some very sick animals--hedgehogs and tenrecs--and I've never regretted those last days/weeks/months. Quality time is the most important thing. I wish you well, and I hope your little guy can be with you for a while yet. I have a little tenrec I've been holding up to his food bowl now so that he can eat/drink for a year now. I can't believe he's still going. He has large masses the vet cannot remove, which affect his mobility. But he keeps plugging along.
