Thank you for the reminder. We helped Eve, our 7 yr old cross the bridge this morning. It is great to have understanding vets who are willing to allow you to be there with your pet or leave according to your comfort zone. It was nice to hold Eve in my arms as she fell off to sleep ending a 4 year battle with adrenal disease. Your posts reminded me that even though she was ready I was not, and that it was time to do what was right for her and help her cross over. I am glad that we have an emergency vet clinic in our area so she didn't have to wait until tomorrow.
